We want to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have expressed to us their continued support. Many have told us how much you miss coming to shows and being involved with shows in all the myriad of ways that we come together in friendship and shared passion. Please be assured that we miss you as well, and that we look forward with great anticipation to sharing the love, the laughter, the joys, the wonder, the lifting of spirits, and the community that is the Elkader Opera House. You haven't forgotten about us, and we want to let you know we haven't forgotten about you!
Your support of the Elkader Opera House will aid us in bringing outstanding professional entertainers to truly one of the finest small historic theaters in the country, while keeping tickets at affordable prices.
As a supporting patron of the Elkader Opera House you or your business will be:
- regularly listed in event programs
- publicly recognized by a theater lobby display
- eligible to purchase tickets two weeks before the general public
Your tax deductible gift of $25 or more automatically puts your name on a special mailing/email list for the current season and qualifies you for a membership. You can help even more by considering the Opera House when planning your estate. Beginning this year, you can deduct many donations even if you don’t itemize!
As a thank you to those who become Members (individuals) or Patrons (businesses) at $25 or more, you will be offered the option of early ticket purchasing to productions, to ensure that you can get the seats you want for the upcoming shows. You will be notified approximately two weeks prior to when tickets go on sale to the general public. Only Members and Patrons will be able to purchase tickets during that time.
The Elkader Opera House continues to successfully host both big name and local performers. If you have a performer or type of performance you would like to see on stage, please let us know.
An additional way to support the Elkader Opera House is by contributions made to the Elkader Opera House Endowment. If you would like more information about this fund, please let us know.
