The beautifully renovated 1903 Elkader Opera House is nestled in the scenic Turkey River valley in Elkader, Iowa. In addition to being on the National Register of Historic Places, the Opera House is best known as Northeast Iowa’s entertainment leader. With its rich cultural heritage the Elkader Opera House provides a charming and unique setting for any event.

The Elkader Opera House invites the public to enjoy an afternoon jam session. Area musicians and vocalists are gathering to share and enjoy their talents with one another!   Stop in and listen for a while or join right in. This “sure to please” afternoon of music will last as long as the musician do!

Jerry Bond: Dr. Enbridge’s most frustrated patient
